Hire a Belly Dancer
Add magic to your event with a belly dancer - or troupe of dancers.

Kashmir:

For the right kind of event, Kashmir is available to entertain you.

• A short performance is 5minutes - and is sometimes all you need.
• A standard performance is 15-20 minutes in a single costume.
• If required, Kashmir will dance with the Guest of Honour and other guests
.
• On request a jangly hip belt can be brought to tie onto the Guest of Honour.

• Performances start at $110.
• Prices vary according length of performance, special requests and travel.
• Add a giant cake and fireworks as done for a 50th birthday in 2005 (above right) and you are up to $3200.

Student Troupes:

Kashmir has some excellent students who are also available on request. (Click here for some of their public performances)
This allows a longer show with costume changes.
For charity events the troupe cost may be minimal.

Minimum Expectations:

It is normally expected that:

• Safe, close parking is available
  - else extra will need to be charged for transport
• A stereo system which plays (burnt) CDs is available and can be heard by all guests
  - else extra will be charged for stereo hire and a sound operator
• Space is available to dance
  - a smaller space will mean a different repertoire and possibly limitations on props.
• A level, stable, glass-free floor is present.

Playshops:

Sometimes you might want everyone involved rather than watching. In this case you probably want a Playshop rather than a performance.
